In May 2020 the container vessel SAMSKIP SKÁLAFELL was renamed PLUTO after she left charter to Samskip for the Iceland run. She was was build in 2008 as ICE CRYSTAL but came into Samskip fleet in 2018.

SKÁLAFELL was on forth-nightly sailings from Reykjavik on the Southern Route with calls in Bíldudalur (IC), Sauðárkrókur (IC), Akureyri (IC), Reyðarfjörður (IC), UK and The Netherlands together with her sistership SAMSKIP BLÁFELL.
