DETTIFOSS left the port of Guangzhou on May 7th after health clerance of the crew bound for loading in Tiacang for the Baltic Sea port of St. Petersburg expected to arrive to her Icelandic home of Reykjavik in mid-June.

Í dag fékk Eimskip afhent nýtt skip, Dettifoss sem er annað tveggja 2150 gámaeininga skipa sem fyrirtækið hefur verið með í smíðum í Kína. Afhending á skipinu er mikilvægt skref í því að geta hafið fyrirhugað samstarf með grænlenska skipafélaginu Royal Arctic Line sem áætlað er að hefjist í júní. Með samstarfinu mun Grænland tengjast alþjóðlegu siglingakerfi Eimskips sem skapar tækifæri fyrir viðskiptavini í þjónustu.
