
20211223 – The Icelandic tanker KEILIR had during the Christmas 2021 installed rolling tank on her fore deck I Reykjavik. Keilir was delivered from Akdeniz Yard in Turkey in 2018 to her owner Olíudreyfing.

Since her arrival to Iceland she has been servicing coastal ports in Iceland as well as bunkering among passenger ships in the Reykjavik harbour area.


The purpose of the rolling tank is to reduce the rolling of a vessel. On a tanker the tank will definitely also help to lover the ships GM so she will have softer movements.
