In Akdeniz shipyard in Turkey the new tanker KEILIR (II) has been on sea trial prior to delivery. She was launched with the yards new 820 tn travel lift. Here are photos taken by the yard of her launching and sea trials. KEILIR will replace the 1978 build tanker LAUGARNES. She was originally the Greenland ORSIAAT sold to Iceland in 1998 becoming BLÁFELL II. She was lengthened the same year and renamed LAUGARNES by her owner.
