
20230718 – On 15th of September 2022 the Coast Guard sisters ÆGIR (6821585) and TÝR (7358420) where sold by Government of Iceland to Fagur ehf. in Reykjavík. The sisters had been in lay-Up for several years and where up to sale.

After the sale they continued in Lay-Up and was finally sold to St. Kitts & Nevis company and deleted from Icelandic Ships Registry 28th June 2023. So far there are no information about what and where they are heading.


ÆGIR has been renamed OCEANUS V and TÝR has been renamed POSEIDON V.



They where both build in Denmark, ÆGIR in Aalborg Værft in 1968 and TÝR in Aarhus Flydedock A/S in 1975.
