Former Icelandic trawler pay visit

The Russian sterntrawler VIKING was seen in Hafnarfjordur today as she had been landing catch and today the crew was taking care of their fishing gear. Viking was build in 1976 as ÓLAFUR JÓNSSON for the fishing company Miðnes hf. Sandgerði and Keflavík hf. Iceland but was sold in 1998 and renamed VIKING. She was one of three sisters build in Poland. Her sisters orignially names were BJARNI HERJÓLFSSON and KLAKKUR. Klakkur is still operated under her same name but has changed ownership three times during her lifetime.
